The Palace, built largely between the 16th and 18th centuries, was originally one of the large properties allotted to Cordoba after the Reconquista, and was declared ""Bien de Interés Cultural"" (of significant cultural interest) in the Monument category in 1982. It comprises a total of 53 rooms, including one suite, and has its own garden.
